Food is a mechanic of this game that is completely ignored. There really ought to be a mechinc in game the debuffs or kills/incapacitates your troops when you don't have enough that food to feed them all. I'm all for having a huge army and being a super powerful force but if you're gonna have troops eat food there ought to be a negative side effect of not feeding them.
What about people that have over 5million upkeep? did you think about them? if igg adds something that happens when you run out of food it will make the game worse

Technically, a maxed Champion Plate/Mail and Reduced Upkeep (50%) will put you at 100% reduced food upkeep and your troops would cost 0 food per second, not suggesting anything here but there are ways around it, albeit very expensive ways.

as you know you have to spend so much real money to get this 100% reduced upkeep, so in this case ALL f2p players that have alot of might (I know some f2p that have over 70mil core might) will simply have to spend alot of food.

In that case the upkeep system should be completely taken out because it's somewhat pointless. In the state that it's in now it isn't anything anyone has toworry about and it's completely disregarded.

No but more troops has a negative affect,build up so many you can't keep food,especially super high 2m t3= 6m food an hour,1m food 10minutes, 100k every minute,1.7k every second,so you have to add more on to keep up for buildings,training troops,he align whatever and cannot hold onto food atall unless you got billions,6m*24=144m a day!

Except mathematically it would be impossible to sustain a decent fighting force without creating a hardline of pay to win to break caps. You people always complain about how high spenders are pay to win and really all this is is another way to gripe about it. Let's say you did this,that would create a max food per hour and as such a baseline for the amount of troops you could sustain at one time,the multibillion power players still hold the cards as they are high spenders so they would just break the standard cap by using Gems. That applies to the idea of debuffing as well,you run into the same problem. The realityis,if you want to compete at that level,you either invest time or money. Also it sounds like you have yet to hit the last few levels of castle upgrading,even with food boosts it can be quite tricky to get the resources at times.
Ultimately the point is,unlessthe entire system was overhauled,this won't work.....ever.

1st-what will they do with everyone with shit tons of troops 2-This makes p2p players unhappy and quit,less money made for these updates 3-this makes f2p too strong,imagine f2p myself,maybe I've played too long and got too used to it 4- players will go to other games making them better,igg loses p2p reputation except to those who want to be same lvl pretty much 5-players get other spenders making them stronger and more focused to improve themselves,imagine gif igg wants to get itself out of the ditch then they need to catch up with the other games without making too close and be sued a huge amount That is all I can think of quickly on a a half asleed head lol

Also to add in,p2p doesn't look good unless you can really spend for champ equipment,hence less spent cause imo that makes them kind of only slightly ahead for a bit and then igg doesn't make much,i dont quite understand how you "milk rich players" when even still they won't to too far ahead without exactly,people would go to other games
