Hello. I've been debating and continplatin different ways to trap people. I was wondering if it would be effective to be garrisoned with 200K and reinforced with 800K ranged. Have ranged talents/gear/heroes. trap attack.. and continuously be garrisoned after each hit to keep your walls up because traps aren't effective after they're down. If someone tried this or any other good trap stratagies, please do let me know. Thanks

Your walls are going to fall.  There's no way around it, and then your Ranged are just regular troops that will be countered by Infantry.

Do you want to trap people on your main account or do you want to create a new trap account? Do you have people willing to reinforce you 24/7 or do you have ALT accounts so that you can reinforce yourself?

Below is a 0 combat mod table. Your aim is to get the best combat score ( kill count * survive count ) for every unknown situation.
The answer is that a mixed troop composition would benefit you best if combat is balanced

Usage of garrison and rienforcement are very beneficial when defending your turf just depends on the kind of troops you set out...be carefull against counters.....

Garrison is the one that gets hit first and uses the garrisoners boosts,if gets beaten then your best bet is equal for a defense,a good player won't get stuck on a wall! Lol

When I Garrison my main account the hero's ranks and level go up is that normal

I get your point but what if he loses but survives, he will know what is garrisoned and if he gets past and survives, because t4 army can survive

A smart player would send archers, its then t4 archers vs archers, this means its 375k 50% t4 and rest t3, t4 is 50% stronger, so thats like 200k and 175k easier, 300k+175k is 475k, 475k vs 800k power but you forget research difference,possibly better heros and gear, if they survive, they can easy send in t4 inf and bam, that will hurt

Basically if you try this you have to attempt to get really good boosts/ be on constantly but being on when hit you kind of need anyways

You forget they can also rally
