Maybe a good idea to introduce the catacombs this idea is about having a character that goes through lvls of the labyrinth defeating different monsters each lvl gets harder at end of each lvl get bonuses like equipment or gems stars anything for familiars to. But this character needs equipment for himself and need to lvl up aswell
this is like a mini-game right, where you defeat the monster and then you get equipment to fight. and you go to a higher level.
This is a nice idea.
But if we want to use it we should use it in a way that will keep the player focused on the main game.
Maybe he goes to a mission for a certain amount of time and after the mission, he will come back, with loot such as gems, speed up, etc. and most important is a gear for him.
The mission should be leveled. and each level has its own reward and the time needed to be completed.
It needs to be simple so the players don't focus too much on it.
